WELCOME!

To our family & friends, HI!

We are so excited to share our wedding with you.

Taking our wedding to Tasmania was an easy decision for us. Ciaran proposed during a hike up Mt Wellington last year. It was freezing & I (Andi) complained the whole way up the mountain... I thought Ciaran was being uncharacteristically patient with me & when he dropped down on one knee when we got to the lookout, I knew why. It was such a happy & special moment for us.

We went on to have the best week eating & drinking our way through Tassie. We absolutely fell in love with it. For those of you who have been, you will appreciate what a special little place it is. For quite a few, it will be your first time visiting & we cannot wait to experience it all over again with you.

We have opted to skip formal invitations & instead, will keep you all updated via this website. We hope you find everything you need to plan your trip right here - but if you have any other questions please ask away.

We welcome your RSVPs once you have made your travel arrangements (link at the top of this page).

The day will be here before we know it & we can hardly wait!

SCHEDULE

We have planned a three day celebration, would you expect any less... ;)
We understand you may not be able to make the pre-wedding or post-wedding events. There is a space in the RSVP for you to let us know what events you will be attending. FYI for most of our guests travelling from Queensland, Monday 1 May is a public holiday, woo hoo!

A NOTE ON KIDS

We love your kids & welcome them to join us over our wedding weekend.
We will ensure the kids are catered at all venues for across the weekend.

However after speaking to quite a few of you, we understand the parents may like a little time to themselves.

Whether you make this is an entirely kid-free weekend, or perhaps you make alternate arrangements for your kids during the wedding reception - we are happy with whatever option works best for you.

There is space in the RSVP for you to let us know which parts of the weekend your kids will be joining in on (if any).

MAP

The red pin on the map below is the location of the  Brooke Street Pier, where our drinks & canapes will take place on Friday night & where the bus will pick everyone up and return to on the wedding day.
We recommend staying within walking distance of the Brooke Street Pier, to enable you to easily get about if you do not hire a car for the weekend. Parking in Hobart, and in particular the waterfront, can be tricky and costly.

ACCOMMODATION

Hobart has a great variety of accommodation options, many of which are rich in history such as the old IXL Jam Factory (now the Henry Jones Art Hotel). We have popped a few recommendations below.  If you are hiring a car, be sure to check the parking option available at your chosen hotel.
